Small ovoid beans, presenting a polished dark red to reddish brown appearance, with a white cotyledon. Once soaked and cooked the beans will be swollen but should retain distinctive shape.

Organic Aduki Beans are a great addition to any food lover’s kitchen. Use their sweet and nutty umami goodness to make top-notch stews, soups and savoury dishes. But adukis will also serve you well in creating satisfying desserts as well as Japanese, Chinese and other Far Eastern classics like dim sum.

Cooking Instructions
1. Soak for 6-8 hours or overnight. 2. Rinse, add to saucepan and bring to a boil. 3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour or until tender. 5. Drain and serve.
